Canandaigua Lake Watershed Council The The Canandaigua Lake Watershed Council is the lead agency in overseeing the protection of the lake. The site will give you access to the Watershed Management Plan, monitoring programs, publications, lake level reports and much more.

Land Preservation
Finger Lakes Land Trust The Finger Lakes Land Trust is active in the preservation of land in the Canandaigua Lake watershed. They have been instrumental in protecting land on South Hill (Middlesex), Grimes Glen (Naples)and the new South Bristol Overlook.
The Nature Conservancy The Nature Conservancy, although global in its activities, also works with private landowners to preserve lands through conservation easements. This has already been done in the watershed on Coy Road.
